Sam Doria

Sam is a retired Energy Engineer having devoted his career in the specialization of improving energy consumption and use.

He joined People for the Poor in 2016 and became a member of our Board in 2019. 

Residents of Mickleton, NJ, Sam and his wife Pat are deeply devoted assisting those in need through their contributions of time and donations. Both were honored with the 2023 “Volunteers of the Year” award for outstanding service.

They are parents of three grown children and are head over heels in love with their two grandchildren Kaylen and Aubrey.
